For the week before the Garlic Mustard Pull and BBQ at Belfountain Conservation Area, get out and pull the garlic mustard from your property. To add incentive (besides the benefits of removing this invasive plant) you can drop off your yard waste bags of garlic mustard with the gate staff at the Belfountain Conservation Area May 21-25
(park hours 8 a.m.  - 9 p.m.)

For every bag receive a ballot to win great prizes from local artisans and establishments.

Prizes will be drawn at the Garlic Mustard Pull and BBQ on Sat. May 25.

Garlic Mustard Pull and BBQ

Come on out on Sat. May 25 to the Belfountain Conservation Area and join in on the garlic mustard pull competition taking place in the Belfountain community. This year for every bag of garlic mustard you pull you will receive a ballot to win a great prize, so come on out and pull as much garlic mustard as you can! We will celebrate the day back at the conservation area with a free BBQ lunch, activities for all ages and music from local entertainers.

The event starts a 10 am, with a small bus ride to the pull site and then back to the conservation area for the BBQ and activities from 12-1 p.m.

The Belfountain Garlic Mustard Pull is an idea that Belfountain P.S. students (Garlic Mustard Busters) had come up with. This year will be the 2nd festival.  We have live music,hike,games,and a free BBQ and a awesome garlic mustard pull!  DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOUR OWN WATERBOTTLES, PLATES AND CUTLERY!!! (Only a few will be provided.)
